Us humans have a particular attachment to thinking something, someone, somewhere will give us access to God.
And while those all can have their place, they themselves are not God.
The mystics across all traditions know this: The Way in is the way on.
The inner, hidden place of the heart that intuitively Knows its union within God.
It can be difficult to 'get there', to that place of trusting our inner knowing, in a world that demands certainty, affiliation, and conformity to a tribe.
But we tune into divinity by sensing a sacred security as we rest into our true, authentic Self.
This is your innate Imago Dei - the image of God - and isn't something you achieve…
It's who you've always been beneath the noise, the conditioning, the 'false' self, the ego.
This February 20-22, 2026, we're gathering as a community with intention to remember our divine design and actually live into this truth.
So, how do we do that?
Not through more information.
Not through more beliefs.
Through direct activation, learning to live with sensitivity to God's Spirit and sincerity from our authentic Self.
We'll be working with contemplative practices, postures of heart, spiritual awareness, and intentional ritual that create the environment for the True Self to emerge from the shadow of our ego/flesh and into conscious recognition.
When we gather with others ("where two or more are gathered") who are sincerely seeking this inner remembering, something sacred unlocks inside of us individually through the presence of the collective.
This is the mystery the mystics have always protected and invite us into: the divine isn't somewhere out there waiting for you to be worthy, but is hidden within, simply waiting for you to turn your attention inward and allow the realization of your true identity to empower every avenue of your life.
This isn't another retreat where you sit passively and hear big word salad teachings and more complex ideas…
This is an invitation to rest into your true self and open up to what life can be when you align with the intimate image of divinity living in and through you.
Our heart for the retreat is to cultivate a living container where ancient wisdom informs awakening for the modern age in a communal setting.
We're drawing from the deepest wells of the great wisdom traditions and from our own lived spiritual human experience that reveals the Divine image of who we really are underneath our conditioning and the roles we play.

Digital Sanctuary
We're creating intentional space away from phones and social media with designated no-device zones and times. This isn't restriction, it's liberation. It's remembering what it feels like to be fully present to yourself, to others, and to the Divine without the constant pull of distraction.
Freedom to Be
Space to question, explore, doubt, laugh, cry, and simply exist without performance or pretense. We intend to create a place where silence meets celebration, where depth meets lightness, where the sacred becomes playfully, beautifully, undeniably Real.
The retreat will be held at Questhaven Retreat Center, a Christian mystic center founded in 1940 in San Marcos, CA.
With 655 acres dedicated to serving those on the path of union with God, Questhaven offers a peaceful and spacious environment for spiritual renewal right here in San Diego.

Commuter Tier - $317
Perfect for locals who can stay at home and join us each day. You'll participate in the full retreat experience and all meals, then return home each evening. This option works well if you live in North County.
Lodging Tier - $413-$585
Stay on-site for the complete immersive experience. This option allows you to stay in the space physically, mentally, and spiritually for the full three days and two nights. Wake up on the grounds, stay present to the rhythm of contemplation and community, and let yourself be fully there without any distraction.

This is a full retreat experience. We're asking everyone to commit to all three days. The depth of transformation we're cultivating together requires continuity and presence. There are no single-day drop-in options.

We find our origin in the Christian mystical tradition while drawing deeply from the worldwide wisdom traditions.
We hold to the perennial philosophy that runs through all genuine spiritual paths.
